Detox is a very important part of your Dreadlocks journey, but maybe just 5% of us having Dreadlocks actually do a Detox..which isn’t the best thing.
We have met only a few Dread Heads that are aware about what a Dreadlocks Detox is, the rest don’t know that it exists.
We at DreadLey Dreadlocks – believe in sharing the Right Knowledge and Aftercare about the Style along with making you look the way you want.
You may not see the dirt from outside, but there is dirt within as Dreadlocks are like an AIR FILTER , they attract dirt and dust and they settle within.
You can do it at Home Or you can get the Service done at our DreadLey Studio – starting with an Oil Head Massage..followed by a Detox ( helps clean your Dreadlocks inside-out, makes it lighter, clean, hygienic and fresh – a relaxing session guaranteed.
We also do a Dreadlocks Wash – it is again a thorough and professional wash which is completely different from a Detox, a wash is something that you can do regularly and it does help keep your Dreadlocks clean too
DREADLOCKS MAINTENANCE
Dreadlocks Maintenance helps keep your Dreads strong, neat, long-lasting and maintains the Dreadlocks tructure.
Some Clients like their Dreads messy and raw, and many want clean, presentable dreads for work, social events, or personal preference.
Maintenance helps control frizz and loose hair, making the locs look well-groomed.
Some people experience lumps, bumps, or uneven locs due to inconsistent care, Maintenance helps reshape them.
Dreads reattachment or combining thin locs is also part of maintenance.

Opening Dreadlocks
At DreadLey Dreadlocks – we Open all types of Dreadlocks / Knotted Hair / Tangled Hair / Matted Hair / Hand-made Dreadlocks / Naturally formed Dreadlocks.. without the use of Scissors or Blades, we open with with a natural and skillful technique.
Along with our other Services – Our Client’s travel from across the Country by flights, train and buses for Opening Dreadlocks too.
Why do Dreadlocks / Knots form?
It happens due to tying your hair in a bun or pony for a long time, not combing and grooming if unwell or other reasons, after doing festive hairstyles that include hair spray and damaging products, hair colouring, pregnancy hair fall and not able to groom during those times etc..This leads to stress / anxiety / depression / fear of going outdoors and the other things that none of us want to feel.
Why do Clients get it done at our Studio?
Because we are the only ones in India who cater to this Hair Service like the way it’s supposed to be, we prioritise it on the same level as our other Hair Services.
And when the Clients ask for help in places that do not have knowledge or interest about the same – they are asked to cut their hair or shave their head bald Or some even try helping them, but the Clients see no difference.

TOP KNOT DREADLOCKS
Top Knot Dreadlocks is a hairstyle where the sides and back head are shaved or faded, with the top Dreads tied in a bun or pony for an edgy appearance.
It’s a stylish and versatile way to wear Dreads, offering a clean and polished look while keeping hair out of the face.
Can be worn casually or for formal occasions. Can be styled open, tied into a round bun or a sleek pony. We make it in your preferred coloured Hair Extensions – could be simple to vibrant colours. We also create Dreadlocks with your Own Hair, provided they match the requirements of doing it without Extensions.

FULL HEAD DREADLOCKS
Full Head Dreadlocks refer to a hairstyle where all the hair on the head is sectioned and locked into dreadlocks.
Clients wait passionately for months to get this look, they grow their hair enough to get it locked with their Own Hair or they choose Hair Extensions. It fully works either way.
Once fully locked, they require minimal daily styling.
It reduces the need for frequent combing and minimizes breakage.
Full Head Dreadlocks can be styled into buns, ponytails, twists, or can be left open too.
Clients do it for personal reasons such as spirituality or a unique fashion choice at the DreadLey Studio!
PEEK-A-BOO DREADLOCKS
Peekaboo Dreadlocks is a hairstyle where only a section of dreadlocks is hidden underneath the natural hair – they are placed underneath the top section of loose hair creating a “peekaboo” effect when the hair moves or is tied up.
This look allows for a mix of hair textures, colors, and styles without fully committing to a full head of locs.
Dreadlocks are visible only when desired, making it a unique, creative and convenient hairstyle.
Clients often choose colorful extensions for contrast and fun and some go for subtle colours for a more natural look too.
Can be tied up to reveal the locs or kept down for a hidden effect. It’s so much fun to create them for our Clients with different preferences.
Ombré DREADLOCKS
Ombré Dreadlocks are dreadlocks that gradually transition from one color to another, creating a fading or blending effect (e.g., starting with black and finishing with a vibrant red or a subtle simple brown shade).
The color typically starts darker at the roots and lightens towards the ends, but it can also be reversed or blended with multiple shades.
Our Clients choose bright colors like blue, pink, purple, or green blended for a funky style or a natural subtle look as per their preference.
This look requires more skills from an Artist point of view and the results are just stunning.
DREADLOCKS TAIL
A Dread Tail is a style where just one Dreadlock strand is attached with extensions or locked with the Clients Own Hair – could be placed on any part of the scalp as per the Clients preference.
Many Clients love the idea of having just one Dread and enjoying the endless possibilities it holds to feel their best with their fav hairstyle in a minimal quantity.
It could be a colourful, subtle hair extensions or the natural hair colour as per the Clients hair.

DREADLOCKS WIGS
A Dreadlocks Wig is a wig made entirely of dreadlocks as per the Clients head size etc, designed to give the appearance of natural locs without the need for actual hair locking. These wigs can be made from synthetic or human hair extensions and come in various styles, lengths, and colors.
Many people who experience hair loss, low hair density, or baldness opt for dreadlocks wigs to achieve a full and natural-looking locs style without relying on hair growth.
