• Why can everyone have Dreadlocks?

Dreadlocks came into existence since the human race began.
It doesn’t belong to a specific Culture or Region, it belongs to everyone.

It’s a Free World and none of us are immortal, live with love and try whatever you want to as long as it isn’t doing any harm to you or others around you, as now is the only time to experience and live it all.

Having different Hairstyles to look back to is the least you could do to have a fun filled life with exciting experiments.

• How do Dreadlocks form?

They form in two ways :

1. Naturally formed Dreadlocks
2. Man-made / Hand-made Dreadlocks

• What’s the minimum Hair Length required to have Dreadlocks?

To create Dreadlocks with your Own hair :

Minimum length required is 7 – 8 inches and the quality of your hair should be thick enough to create a good size of Dreadlock individually.

To create Dreadlocks using Extensions :

Minimum hair length required is 3 – 4 inches so that the Hair Extensions can be attached well.

• What are Hair Extensions?

Hair Extensions are of 2 types :

1) Real Hair Extensions
( at the DreadLey Studio we use Processed, Hygienic and Quality Real Hair Extensions)

2) Synthetic Hair Extensions
( at the DreadLey Studio we use Imported and Quality Hair Extensions)

• Length of Dreadlocks and Colours

Dreadlocks can be made in literally any hair length you prefer and with different colours too.

When you go for Real Hair Extensions, you can colour your Dreadlocks

And when you go for Synthetic Hair Extensions, you can select which ever colour you prefer as they come in colours.

• Is this a Temporary or Permanent Hairstyle?

BOTH.
Temporary Dreadlocks can be kept for 2 months approximately

However, as per us there is nothing as Permanent Dreadlocks because we can also get them Opened as per your convenience. We assure that’s possible.

In short – Temporary Dreadlocks can be kept for 2 months approximately & the rest can be kept for as long as you want to keep it.

• How to take care of Dreadlocks?

Both Naturally formed & Hand-made Dreadlocks need love and care.

• Dreadlock Maintenance (can be maintained depending upon how neat or messy you like your Dreadlocks to be)
• Dreadlock Wash ( can be washed normally and needs to be washed lesser times than we would usually wash our natural hair )
• Dreadlock Detox ( recommended every 3-6months for internal cleansing of the Dreadlocks)

Dreadlock Maintenance , Dreadlock Wash , Dreadlock Detox if done regularly keeps the Dreads Hygienic and Healthy.

• Can Dreadlocks be removed too?

Like you now know, Dreadlocks can naturally form and few let it happen on purpose as they like the idea of Natural Dreadlocks.

On the other side , Dreadlocks also form naturally when we are not able to comb our hair / groom ourselves due to various reasons. In situations like these people usually think about shaving or cutting their hair and are pretty disturbed about the same.

But in both these scenarios, Team DreadLey helps you.

Dreadlocks can be opened too. And we open your Dreadlocks at the DreadLey Studio without the use of Scissors or Blades to cut and shave.

So yes, Dreadlocks can be removed / opened.

• Why should one try Dreadlocks?

It’s a unique and life changing Hairstyle. Dreadheads would be the best people to tell you how they feel, and unless you don’t try it you won’t know. So, GO FOR IT if you’re interested.
